As a recipient of four community leadership awards, she has established herself as a trailblazer, speaking to audiences of all sizes and leaving a lasting impact.

In 2013, Brenda founded WeCare, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through education, life skills, and social and emotional learning. Since its inception, WeCare has touched over 100,000 young people and families, partnering with schools, juvenile justice commissions, and community centers across the U.S.
